Beseitigung von Mietschäden sind keine beruflichen Umzugskosten

Fallen die Renovierungskosten unabhängig vom beruflichen Umzug ohnehin an, sind sie nicht als Werbungskosten abziehbar.

Nur wenn Renovierungskosten durch die vorzeitige Auflösung des Mietvertrages bedingt sind, können sie auch als beruflich bedingte Umzugskosten geltend gemacht werden. Wären die Kosten dagegen unabhängig vom berufsbedingten Umzug ohnehin entstanden, sieht das Finanzgericht Sachsen-Anhalt keinen Anlass für einen Werbungskostenabzug.
