Umsetzung der datenschutzrechtlichen Vorgaben beim Fiskus

Auch die Finanzverwaltung muss den Vorgaben der Datenschutz-Grundverordnung folgen und veröffentlicht ein Merkblatt mit Hinweisen für Steuerzahler.

Am 25. Mai 2018 tritt EU-weit die Datenschutz-Grundverordnung in Kraft. Nicht nur Unternehmen, Vereine und andere private Einrichtungen müssen den Vorgaben in der DSGVO folgen, sondern auch öffentliche Institutionen. Um den Informationspflichten zu genügen, hat das Bundesfinanzministerium nun ein sechsseitiges Merkblatt mit Erläuterungen zur Erhebung, Speicherung und Verarbeitung der Steuerzahlerdaten erstellt, das u.a. unter http://www.finanzamt.de und auf der ELSTER-Website abrufbar ist.
