Kosten für Updates von Standardsoftware

Ein neues Urteil legt fest, dass die Kosten für Updates von Standardsoftware sofort abzugsfähige Betriebsausgaben oder Werbungskosten sind.

Nach einer Entscheidung des Finanzgerichts Niedersachsen sind die Kosten für den Kauf eines Updates für eine Standardsoftware sofort abzugsfähige Betriebsausgaben oder Werbungskosten. Außerdem wurde von den Richtern entschieden, dass die Abschreibungsdauer für Standardsoftware der von Hardware entspricht und damit in der Regel drei Jahre beträgt.
